You are improving....and the new doc would have the results of the last c-scope...so, that's a good thing.

Seems a good combo....be patient as she seems to be heading in the right direction..unless you get worse.

Are you supposed to taper the enemas...or is that a step not considered at this time?

Personally....I've been through that process...I trusted my doctor to be patient...

that's the plan...pretty much every second night...a typical taper. Then what? you'll see how you do and then the next taper will take place...

They tell me my UC is mild to moderate too...easy for them to say. I've been flaring for a while (D  and blood in stool, pain, urgency and inflamation in joints). I've got an appt w/my GI doc next month. I think he's going to suggest 6mps. I've taken the blood test and he said I can take them. I'd rather not go that route, but I need to get this into remission and my stress level isnt going down anytime soon, so I guess I'll have to try these meds.
