I guess it might be prudent not to give in to diagnosis so quickly.  Of course, even if you're paranoid it might take good fortune (a blessing) for someone to find what needs to be fixed.

Another day, another article.  We can still hope.

 

Mitzo - that's what I'm saying!

An article I read on this particular parasite mentioned that you may need around 7 tests to get to the point where its around 90 percent accurate. Well, I had to twist my GI's arm to get one parasite test ordered. And I basically have no information on lab testing for parasites. I would think there would be more public education about this and more businesses doing it. I mean, people travel these days etc.. and some of the darned things can really screw people up and lay low on the radar for years.

The one test I had came back negative (I have no idea what they looked/tested for). Times like these I wish I knew some folk who do tests like this (test poop for a living, yikes) but they are valuable people.
