Has anyone looked at this website?  http://www.candidasupport.org/

After taking the test, I fell into the moderate category.  It's something I've been questioning lately (the whole candida thing) and I'm wondering if I should buy these products?  I've tried so many "miracle" products and I'm afraid of another disappointment.  I've never tried anything for candida though.  In the last year I get frequent UTI's, yeast infections, along with my UC symptoms.  I'm not sure if the UTI's and yeast infections could be a result of being on 6MP though.  Sooooo many questions, just want this disease gone! :)

Candida overgrowth can be fought with many common household items like garlic, oregano, virgin coconut oil, biotin. Teas like PauD'arco and chammomile can be useful too. Try them before you spend any money on pricey all-in-one packages.

You will have to avoid refined sugars, breads and white starches (food for candida) during the cleanse. When candida is dying you will go thru a process called "die off" where the yeast gives off toxins and makes you feel like crap for a few days. (pun intended)

Candida and other bad gut flora play a key role in digestive disease. Frequent yeast infections are certainly a sign of a problem and being on immunosuppresants or steroids compounds the problem. I agree with ucwarrior in that there are many things you can try - both natural supplements and pharmaceuticals - that can be helpful. My personal experience with Threelac was not positive.
