1st colonoscopy results today

Thanks for eveyone who replied to my MOVIPREP questions

The prepping sucked but it was manageable

My colonoscopy went great!

I cant believe how quickly I fell asleep once the Versed and Fentanyl were started - I never even knew it was in before I was out!

The good news is that my colon looked great!

There was no inflammation and it looked as if things are "healed" for the time being

One polyp was removed for biopsy

We are still trying to figure out why I flare once I get down to 10mg of prednisone - I am on 25mg right now.

And why I still have one diarrhea bm every morning

I am going to have the "swallow the camera" test in early december to see if that shows anything

I am thrilled with how things went at this point and am grateful for all you....a wonderful support system that helped me along the way.

Hopefully my health will continue improve !

Congrats!!!...did they do biopsies and were they able to get into the terminal ileum?

I hope all goes well with the one polyp removed for biopsy...and wishing you the best of luck when they have you do the pill cam in Dec, at least that way they'll be able to virtually see all your intestinal tract...be sure to fill us in on the results of all that.

Yay on the good scope results! Yep, gotta love the "cocktail" they give you for the scopes lol :) I call it my happy juice.

I'm glad it went well!! I wish they could give those drugs as soon as you get there..lol. Laying there waiting for the procedure makes me so nervous, I get so excited for the drugs!

Wonderful news for you! When I had my husband go in for his first scope I got tickled. They called me back there when they were done. My Jim was sitting in a chair and he looked at me and said, Honey, I love you better than breakfast and that's saying alot right now! A few days later I asked him if he remember saying that to me or was it the cocktail talking - LOL he didn't remember but now he still says it just about everyday and we still get a laugh!

So glad your doing better!
