Hi all just wondering how everyones christmas shopping is going and how many have it all and wrapped i have not finished mine and have not wrapped anything yet have only just brought some paper also it is my youngest sons birthday on the 10th he will be 6 and have his pressies to wrap i am just so behind this year just thought i would ask did put the tree up at the weekend and i think kids and i did a good job just so much more to do and time running out and have to fit in school christmas plays too.

I haven't even started and I mean that in the sense that I haven't even LOOKED and have no idea what I'm getting anyone. I've always been a procrastinator but being completely broke hasn't helped :( I get paid on the 18th and plan to do all my shopping then, so it should be nice and stressful. I generally hate Christmas though, particularly for this reason. Ugh.

Aww my birthday is the 10th too!! It sucked as a kid cuz my parties/gifts were always combined with Christmas. I'm not living in a town that has a mall right now so its practically impossible! I'm home for break on the 12th so I'll start then...if the funds hold out

I'm pretty much done- I'm trying to find some Christmas toilet paper, for a theme gift....don't ask! And no, the recipient does not have any type of IBS or IBD! Like everyone else, we didn't spend as much this year as we have in the past. I'm lucky, our families are relatively small, & we've never gone whole-hog for Christmas consumerism anyway, so it shouldn't feel like a cheap Christmas! The wrapping is what kills me- I keep saying "Not today..." & the gifts are piling up in a Target bag stashed in my closet.

I got some of my shopping done but I still have a ton more to do. Me and the kids put up the tree last Saturday and I just finished up decorating today. Plus, we went out yesterday and bought a gas fireplace for my sunroom which we totally redid over the summer but we didn't have any heat in there. So now my sunroom is decorated too! :)

My apartment is decorated, and my classroom at work is decorated too. :-) I'm almost done shopping for my hubby, but... I haven't shopped for my family, but my hubby's side is done, and I haven't started on my (work) kid's Christmas presents for their parents. I will get there though. I'm starting to feel pressured though, time is ticking.

My shopping is pretty much done (afterall shopping is what I do best) but we still have to get the tree up hopefully one night this week, then I can wrap the gifts and get them under the tree...next week I'll probably do some baking, maybe on the weekend while hubby and son are away for a day (baseball camp), then it won't all get eaten up as it's comming out of the oven LOL!

My husbands work xmas party is on the 19th (too close to rag-time) so my worries are having to use the toilet while in the middle of eating dinner, it's so flipping embarassing but what can you do...I already told my hubby I want to sit at a table closest to the can (as if he doesn't already know that eh). We'll make the best of it though, the nice thing is it's at a casino/hotel in the city and since we live 1/2 hour out of town we'll likely just stay the night...being out of the hotel by 11am the next day is usually the challange but thankfully I have my potty-van to rely on!

i've done my decorating,but i havent really even started shopping yet,i plan on doing some shopping this weekend.but i'm very behind this year on doing shopping. i'm just depressed really not in the mood to do christmas. this is the first christmas without my grandma. but having three kids i know i have too. i think my kids are what's getting me through the holiday's.

I think I'm done with everything; just finished baking up a storm and making tons of peanut brittle which I'll be sending off to the east coast today. On Friday we went out and bought lots of clothes and toys for our annual toy drive and my boyfriends' kids are taken care of too. Now, what to get for the dogs? Hmmm. :-) I think a couple of fluffy toys are in order. Ha!

Ha, Peanut Brittle is very good; mine is more peanuts than brittle. The brittle is made of sugar and butter and then made into a candy along with the peanuts. I'm not able to eat much of it but my boyfriend is addicted to it!

I am newly diagnosed but I had symptoms the past few years, just rarely. Now, its almost a daily problem as I go 4-6 times a day and am dealing with urgency almost always in the morning. This is very difficult being a high school teacher. The anxiety stinks.. This forum is great. I have been reading it for hours and am somewhat relieved I am not alone in the UC world. Thank all of you. I will be  daily visitor to this site for as long as it takes.

How can we enjoy Christmas and new year when the brutal evil racist jews are busy with the massacre of innocent palestinians.
