Hi All,
I just met with my GI, it's been a year since my colonoscopy. Getting to meet with her is like trying to get to the pope, she's always, always, 2 months out, no matter what. We went over my coloscopy photos she said I have the most mildest case on the left side and a little, little patch by the cecum. She said there's none at the rectum. She said I was easy to exam.
I mentioned to her I have to take birth control for my uterus to shead the skin and she highly recommened it and said no problem. I told her I wasn't on medication and I don't bleed that much and not often, she said, if you don't want the meds you don't have to. She understands they make me more sick them I all ready am. She said take them when I need to get over a hump. I told her I have mushy stool every day and she said that is fine. She said take a prenatal vitamin and to take oscal + D for my bones. Heck, she made me feel good like my condition was nothing. I just can't believe I'm what they call mild when it's been the biggest disruption in my whole life for 5 years. I'm confused on this.
I had a ultrasound for my pelvis today, uterus, tubes and a mammorgram, I just want to rule anything else since the uterus issue. My OBYGN and Colon Dr. said YAZ will help my mood, anxiety and such and it came highly recommended from both doctors.
I am waiting to hear back about my ultrasound (see my mom is dying from ovarian cancer and I'm a little freaked) b/c i'm hoping all my gut pain diarreah is all from my UC nothing else.
Thanks for listening friends.
