Am seeing my GI tuesday morning and have a whole list of questions for him thanks to you all on this site. Thank you. He may not thank you but I do. You all have been very informative and helpful. I'm sure he'll be pleased with my progress as I am, but hopefully he'll have an
open mind to discuss some of the "alternative" treatments I have tried. He should, he's always seemed very caring and
open. Hopefully we won't even have to talk that "remicade" word he said he wanted to talk about
. LOL. Once again thank you all.

My GI is so nice. He always takes a long time with me.

Same here. Didn't realize how lucky I was until I read a bunch of personal stories on here.
Same with my PCP actually.

Mine actually doesn't rush ya.... but there are times when I feel that he is not
open to new ideas, or is just humoring me by listening to my ideas of "non traditional" treatments. Other times, ya can tell he listened, thinks and comments. Guess it just depends on his mood or maybe his case load that day.

I have asked my GI questions from info from this board....he isnt so
open minded and kind of blows off things I bring up, new gene studies, etc......I can understand in a way because they are not in the business of non-traditional meds....but I keep asking and suggest everyone else does too... I have been through a lot of GI's....mine so far is ok but I still may check out another alternative.
