Rowasa & Dark Stool???

I don't recall it ever making mine darker. Usually after a colonoscopy it will take me a week or so to get the bowel back to normal. Whatever normal is for you at that time. Even with a sig scope it messes up my gut for several days. If it were me I wouldn't bother worrying. To many other things to worry about, lol.

Mine can be very dark- black even. Rowasa itself will turn black over time if it is exposed to things outside its bottle. When I use rowasa, I squeeze the air out so it doesn't hurt once inside and a few drops always falls on the tissue I use to avoid a mess. The next morning the otherwise white rowasa is jet black. I'm figuring the same thing happens when you use it.

There is so much to learn. It is overwhelming right now. Right now I am on Asacol 2 tabs 3X and Rowasa nightly. I have no idea if this will change when I go back Wednesday.

Of course I jsut get through the colonoscopy and my wonderful daughter has shared her cooties. I now have her terrible chest cold and can't quit coughing!!!

I just want to feel good again!!!!
