OsmoPrep tablets -- need advice today

I have a colonoscopy coming up and my GI prescribed OsmoPrep tablets, partly because I have a strong gag reflex and do better with those than the liquids. She mentioned the recent FDA black label warning, and while I blew it off at the time I'm starting to get cold feet.

I have none of the risks factors. Should I go ahead and use them? What would other people do?

I used the Osmoprep pills a couple years ago and it was the easiest prep I have ever done. But now I'm wondering if the damage from these pills will show up further on down the road. Maybe you should call up your GI and ask about all the available preps that are safer to take? I don't know if I would want to risk it.

Same here, i used them twice for my preps and loved them. I guess double check with your Dr.
