Dimethyl Sulfoxide for UC

I have posted on several occasions on this board about DMSO.

I had severe abdominal pains 5 years ago and no medications were helping me. I tried DMSO and withing 10 minutes the pain was gone. People don't appeciate DMSO because it's so cheap. Don't be put off about what people say about DMSO giving you garlicky smell. It's so slight that it does not bother me. Also don't buy the expensive MSM as it's DMSO tinkered by Stanley Jacobs who simply wanted to get rich by patending a ******ised version of DMSO. MSM simply does not help.

I used DMSO 5 years ago when I had severe abdominal pains and i have never had any abdominal pains since. I stopped us DMSO after 3 weeks because my skin got red and got very itchy but I believe that if DMSO is taken immediately after a shower and diluted with one third water than your skin will not itch. I will try it again .

Mudua: There are thousands of posts on this forum and I've slowly been working my way through them all. Haven't read any, yet, about DMSO though.

Are you still taking it?

Where do you buy it? Is it available in Canada? Do you have UC? Are you on any other prescribed medications?

From what I've read on the Internet it also helps Asthma. I'd like to try it for my Asthma before seeing if it would help my g'son. He's back in the hospital with his 2nd UC flare... I don't understand why the GI won't see him "before" his symptoms reach the "emergency" level!

Where to you purchase the DMSO that you buy? I found about 6 different websites that sell it. Haven't a clue which brand would be the best.
