I'm going on holiday to Canada for 2 weeks on the 18th of this month, however I'm just getting out of a flare and still taking a fair amount of medication. Although feeling alot better since being in hospital I still need to be careful as I don't want things to go backwards. I cannot find a travel insurance company to cover me for the Colitis, this seems to be because I've been in hospital twice within the past 12 months. I'm going to be staying with some friends over there so it'll be chilled out and I'll be looked after if need be! :)
However I just wondered whether I should take a note from the GP to explain why I'm bringing so many types of medication into the country or will it be ok? I just don't want any problems at the airport!
And maybe if you have any tips on ensuring I stay 'ok' while I'm over there, I obviously want to avoid unnecessary medical costs!!
