Colonoscopy and still having D

I had a colonoscopy this morning and I am still having runny stool. Is this normal? I feel like the laxatives are still in my system. When will it go away? When I say runny, I mean it's not formed at all.

My guess is it probably is. The cleanout process probably got your colon irritated as did the colonoscopy itself, so it might take a couple of days for things to go back to normal. Plus, there's not much in there besides liquid right now, too!

What did the colonoscopy show?

No polyps, just slight inflammation in the rectum and left side. She took biopsies - hopefully I will get good news. I am worried...

I am happy it is over with. The prep was awful!! I can't believe they want me to do this again in a year.
