"Store Brand" Metamucil

Hello all,

Was at Walmart purchasing another bottle of the Metamucil Capsules. Noticed the $6.00 difference between the Equate Brand and Metamucil Brand. I went with the Metamucil brand today but was wondering if anybody has tried the "store brands" and had success?

I seem to be spending so much on all this stuff so anywhere I can save a few bucks is great, but only if there is the same end result. The ingredients appear to be the same.

With so many things I know it doesn't seem to make any difference whether you buy the name brand or the store brand.

Hi there.....some store brands are better than brand name....depends on the ingredients.

And if they're the same....you won't have to worry about taste with capsules..so, I'd say go for it.

You're right, there are times when one can save a few bucks.

I recently bought the big bottle of capsules...oops forgot I didn't take them tonight....must do that!
