Ive been on 6mp for about
3 months. I have had an increased dose of 100mg for about
9 weeks still NO progress. It is very depressing and I'm so over it! My question is does 6mp work for everybody AND how long ?

Not one thing works for everyone. There can be varying degree of success with 6mp or Imuran. Some can only have slight improvement while others it can drastically change their life or it can become toxic for a person. So no, it doesn't work for everyone. Sometimes though, some people respond slower then others and I've heard of it taking as long as 6 months or more for it to start working for some people.

It took three months for it to kick in with the prednisone for me. It doesn't keep me out of flares though. The flares seem to be getting closer together too...boo hiss.

6mp works for most, though for me its effectiveness was short lived. Please be careful with your dosage as it can cause people to become immuno compromised.

I took it for 1.5 years and never saw improvement.
