I would suggest you maybe try a quarter of a bar, then the next day a half, then the next day three-quarters and the day after a full bar...or do the process slower.
I want to let you know that waiting to get off the enema might having you wait a while. You have to taper them and maybe be on maintenance.
Having abdominal cramping isn't necessarily a bad thing if you can pinpoint the culprit. I think you had too much fibre of the gas producing kind. Did you have it on an empty stomach?
Try it again, but in a small amount. Maybe with a meal as a dessert maybe...make sure you do take in enough water during the day.
It might not be of a bother to you afterward. Slow is best with that kind of fibre.
