Im a bit worried about this swine flu. there was someone who died of it in south london, where I live. I guess there is nothing I can do about it but I wish this was not happening while I am trying to get a strong as I can. I hate riding the london tube. It is so polluted and you can get illness quite easy. There is always someone with a cold on the tube.

One of the secretaries where I work got diagnosed with the Swine Flu last week!

With as compromised as my immune system is (with Pred and Aza), I have, needless to say, been nervous to go to work!

Life must go on, though...wash hands, "cover your cough" etc. shakehead

Wow. They do have a vaccine for this but they havent sent it out yet. Here in England we have to wait till 2010

I haven't heard about a vaccine here yet. Probably will be 2010 here too or later if we have to wait for our darned FDA to approve it.

I heard Tamiflu is good for treating it.

Tamiful is the only treatment. There is a vaccine and the NHS wants it for scotland. But they wont be able to afford it of the whole population. Any way the rest of the population only get flu symptoms and have to be off work for a week. We are the only ones that could die. I hope the prioritze it for the ones with exsitng medical conditions first.

Boris Jonson bought loads of Tamiflu for london. But that doesnt help people like us.

Swine flu really isn't that much worse than regular flu, you know.
