Well, it's me again. I first posted end of June . My story has this same subject.
The cancer was staged. It is stage 11, T3. No lymph nodes involved but throught the colon wall but not into any organs nearby.
There is a little fat surrounding the colon between it and the lymph nodes. The cancer has just started to spread into this fat. The test done is 60% correct, we will know for sure after the surgery.
On March 2, when I first was having symptoms and everyone kept brushing me off and sending me home with no treatment, I bet this tumor was smaller. It was probably not through the colon wall.
The problem now is all the waiting. First 10 days for Independence Day vacations for the staff. The doctor yesterday had to leave me for a meeting. He was going to see me again on Monday but then he remembered he had something more important to do that day so I have to wait to Wed. And he said we are going over a lot of stuff Wed, but I noticed my appt is right before closing so he will be rushing through it. and don't forget, all these appointments are two hours away.
They are going to do radiation before the surgery but would't you just know the radiologist is on vacation this week and I am pretty sure I am not her first order of business when she gets back. THEY ARE GOING TO LET THIS SPREAD AND KILL ME!
The doctor that moved my appt from Mon to Wed said two days would not hurt, but it is his two days and this other person's week and everybody else's day or so that is going to add up.
