Anyone try the pin worm parasite OR find after having appendix removed it made a difference?

Worms have helped some improve but others not.  I doubt you will be able to find a reputable surgeon, or insurance company, that will electively remove your appendix as a means to improve your UC.  That's very sketchy.

Are you sure they were using pin worms? The research I have read was about whip and hook worms. I can tell you from personal experience you don't want pin worms at least active ones. They are one of the few internal/intestinal parasites that are still quite common in the West, particularly if you are around children. Pin worms are quite benign but very annoying, they like to come out for a breath of air, to lay their eggs and wiggle around if you get my drift.

I've been diagnosed with UC since 2001 and my appendix was inflamed and removed in 2004 and there was no improvement in my UC.  So I wouldn't choose to remove a body part and go through surgery hoping that it will fix the UC without any guarantees.
