A few of you may remember me. I have not been posting for more than a year. It has been a little of a selfish attitude, as I have been doing great, totally on remission and not taking any meds, so not needing any help from this forum.
I know a lot of you would not agree to this but the fact, as far as I am concerned, is that I owe it to the SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) which I have been followed fanatically for about 3 years now. I am so accostumed to it that I do no feel bad for its eating limitations.
Any of you that may have an interest in learning about this diet and I sugest you search the net by googling simply SCD. In case your interest remains, I would suggest to buy the book where the whole diet is described called "Breaking the Vicious Cycle" by Elaine Gottschall.
I would point out that, in order to follow this diet and profit from its great benefits, the diet has to be followed at 100%, fanatically for a long time, therefore requiring a lot of self-discipline, determination and will power. If not certain about this, it is useless to even start it. But if correctly followed it usally work on U.C. and C.D.
