Obstruction ???

Hi all,

I have a few new symptoms and I am not sure if they are related to UC or not. From looking them up on internet it seems I may have an obstruction.

I have not had nor had to urge to have a bowel motion in 6 days, I have left side pain (usual for me when flaring). I can only eat one or two bites of food or a few sips of water at the time, and then the pain and gurgling in my upper left stomach gets really bad. After about 20 minuites I then vomite up bile this is happening with since last Friday. I am now avoiding eating and drinking as I feel so bad when I do so I am now getting weak and tired aswell. Its wearing me down.

Could this be an obstruction of some sort? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've heard of a blockage in the small intestines that typically happens to those of us with an ostomy but I never heard of an obstruction in the colon.

I found this condition, that must be rare since the colon is so large.
The term "obstructive colitis" refers to ulceroinflammatory lesions occurring in the colon proximal to an obstructing or potentially obstructing lesion.

I would ask your doctor to be scoped.
