Legs falling asleep

Im still on 50 mgs of prednisone, and my legs keep falling asleep. Any ideas of how to keep that from happening. Twice now at work Ive gotten up from my desk, and taken a few steps only to fall flat on the floor. This last time a coworker saw it happen. Im affraid that if it keeps happening, my works gonna ask me to take a medical leave because of the liability. This sucks.

This does not sound like a side effect of prednisone? Have you spoken to your GI about this new problem?

Im certain it is. Last year when I was on 60mgs I had this same problem. It went away as I dropped below 40mgs.

My legs never fell asleep but I did have problems walking. My were very swollen when I was on 40 mgs of prednisone. Once I started to wean down it went away. Can you wean down a little... it may help.

Getting over a horrible flare up. I dont think I can wean down yet. I just went from 60 to 50 on Monday.
