Vitamin E enema

I found this interesting article on the web in which a vitamin E enema helped a guy with his colitis...has anyone used a vitamin E enema before?

curent meds--Pentasa 8 tablets/ day

Imuran (first time didn't work...2nd try) - 0.25 mg currently( 1/2 a tablet)

Natren Protiotics, Georges always active aloe vera juice, udo's oil, centrum multivitamin,

There's a few of us on the forum who have tried the Vitamin E enema and seen some benefit from it. Sheldon (whose post you linked to) has also replied to a few threads on this forum in the past.

I haven't found it to be as effective as it has been for Sheldon, but find it useful to do occasionally, along with my other therapies.

It stopped my bleeding within a day when no meds were helping me. I have never had abdominal pains since I started doing the vitamin E enema. To me its the best treatment for UC and It's worth a try. I suggest you give it a try. If if does not work than all you have lost will be a bottle of vitamin E
