More Lialda Questions

I've been experiencing a bad headache since i increased to two in the morning. Does this eventually go away? Who's in remission from Lialda? I don't know why but it seems I can tolerate this better than Asacol, meaning no panic attacks so far except the inital one when I started it. I just wanted to hear some positive things about this "new" med. Also, I can take all my iron and supplement too with it?

Hi Linda, I think I mentioned in another post I have been on Lialda for over two years. It really has helped me. It has helped me stay in remission longer and has made the flares I have had milder. It has never given me headaches or any side effects except sometimes it makes my stool pretty soft...which is not always a bad thing...Yes, you can take your iron supplement with it too. I take it with a multi-vitamin (which includes iron) every morning. I take all my Lialda at one time and do not spread it through the day. That might help. Again, you should eat with it...hope this helps!

what other issues, can you write please? As soon as I started it, the next day I started my period a week early! I'm on the pill so this should not be happening. I will call Shire who makes it and see if others have reported this.
