Mine is about
three inches long. It's hardly visible now, three years later. It's very low - I could wear a string bikini if I wanted to (but I won't :P ) My mom also had c-sections "way back when" and her incision was huge. My skin is above the area is a little loose, but I think that's from having three kids. I've been told that only plastic surgery can get rid of it and I believe it. It's not a huge thing to me. Yes, stiches can poo from straining. That's actually what happened to me when I tore with number 1. I was having a BM and I was straining they ripped and every time I tried to "push" I was bleeding big-time. Not fun. I was in the bathroom for hours and I literally thought I was going to have to have my husband call an ambulance and I was going to have to go to the hospital to finish this BM. What a nightmare! Found out my OB/GYN at the time should have given me a stool softener - I actually needed one back then. I don't mean to scare you because I'm sure my experience is rare - at least I hope it is.
