Poor baby. I had to pick him up early from daycare yesterday because he woke up from his nap with a fever...no real symptoms, other than a bit of a stuffy nose and cough, but what daycare kid doesn't have a snotty nose in the fall/winter? He's still got the fever today and his eyelids are droopy/swollen, which is another symptom. I guess we'll see if he gets the rash after his fever breaks as it's the only real way to know what' s going on. He's a little bit cranky and sleepy, but other than that, is in a great mood.

'Tis the season I guess. My daughter has been home for the past 3 days because she has been majorly congested. But today I looked in her throat and her tonsils are really swollen and I seen some white spots...so yep, uh oh! Her doc is extremely booked so I may have to take her to urgent care later today to see if she has tonsilitis. But seeing your child sick is harder on the mommy I think then the child! I hope your little guy gets better soon and that his fever doesn't last long.

When I feel hot and feverish I put a cool rag to my forehead, under/behind each each, back of neck, insides of wrists, and insides of upper thighs. I mean like touch it to all those points, not have a million rags XD I dunno why, but it helps. I don't know how comfortable he'd think that is though lol. Hope he feels better, at least it doesn't sound too serious. But I dunno what roseola is lol

Thanks, everyone. EP, roseola is one of those weird virus little ones seem to get. It's basically just a high fever with very few other side effects until the rash comes after the fever breaks. There usually aren't any complications, unless the fever gets too high. Ben's comes down well with ibuprofen...tylenol doesn't do much.

Hope this is something that quickly resolves itself soon.
