Thanks for the advice everyone, I'll definitely change my diet and start exercising more often. However, I did cheat today and had Wendy's (bacon cheesburger w/ small fry), I had diarrhea all day. Maybe it's the sudden change to greasy food that got me?
I know this is no substitute for a Doctor, but I feel just by browsing the section that the fine folks here have equipped themselves with education on UC and mostly a lot of thing involving the body. Being agoraphobic (since 13... explains the prozac), it's hard to have a life let alone go see a Doc, so that's why I am here so desperately looking for answers.
One last thing, steamed veggies, recommendations? I've never ever known you could steam veggies let a lone how. Any fellow veggiphobics out there recommend any steamed veggies you find actually tasty?
Again, thanks so much guys!

I wouldn't worry about the color. Poo changes color depending on what foods are being consumed. Licorice makes it turn green. You don't need to worry about the color.
It was a good decision to take probiotics. They should help counter the negative affects antibiotics could have had on the bacteria in your colon.
Try adding rice and bread to your diet. They should help provide bulk. If you still continue to have issues, then see a doctor. However, at this point in time, I would not worry about it.
The following is what a flare is like for me:
Imaging getting a chill running up and down your spine, because all of a sudden you need to go to the bathroom. You run to the toilet, set on it while blood pours out of your butt. When you get up from the toilet and look inside, you see red water with big red clumps. You then go lie down and 10 minutes later you have to go to the bathroom again.
Of course, I get some bad flares. It's possible to have microscopic colitis with just diarrhea and no blood.
That's so sad to hear subdued
. It's amazing that we can't find a cure for this (at least I believe there is no cure), only things to help make the symptoms bearable. Do you know how you got your UC?
