Ayurveda?

I will be starting my daughter (diagnosed with pancolitis four months ago, currently on pentasa and a whole host of supplements and the scd diet) on ayurvedic medicine in the next day or two. I'd appreciate hearing about any experiences, positive or negative, anyone has had with ayurveda, what you used, where you got it from, if you consulted a practitioner etc.
