I am back after a couple of months!

Hello everyone! It took me a while to come back on the forums after my last hopitalisation... I've been in the hospital on and off for about a month. I was heading for colostomy when I asked my doctor to try Remicade for a 4th or 5th time and it finally worked!!! So I still have my colon, and have a Remicade treatment once every 8 weeks. I've had my ups and downs since last summer but I want to thank you all for the great support you gave me. All the information I got here was truly helpful and now I feel like I can help others too. So I am back and I'm all ears (well eyes and fingers)! Plus I got myself a cute netbook to stay in touch more easily! :D

Thanks Lonie! I had my 11th(i think) infusion last week! I still have tons of questions and of course some worries but I feel so much better! I started to work , I have a new boyfriend, things look dandy lol I had a minor flare that caused me some worry last week but It seems like everything is under control for the moment :)

     Welcome back and I sure hope the Remicade helps you.  It helped me so far.  I suffered three major flares in the past 18 months even on the 6MP.  Doctor took me off the 6MP two weeks before starting the Remicade.  I was very scared to go on Remicade at first, but now I am glad I did.  I receive my 3rd infusion Dec 31st.  I noticed I am losing hair though...oh well, I can always wear a wig.  Rather have hair loss than those horrible UP symptoms.
