Every two years for me; may become yearly now that I'm coming up on ten years. I have left-sided UC, plus a family history of colon cancer.

Usually your GI has a preferance for routine colonoscopies, some prefer once/yr unless issues arise, other like every 2 yrs and such.

I ever met a person, who did colonoscopy 3 times in a month, because she had big polyps. Doctors tried to put UC into remission before removing these polyps...

clicky: would you mind elaborating on your liver damage?...you have me concerned as I am on azathioprine (150mg now). I get yearly liver checks at work and they always look great. I also get monthly blood work in addition to that through my GI's office but i believe they're just checking white blood cell count and they always look great
Is your damage irreversable and where there other contributing factors aside from the the Imuran?

Pretty much every 3 years. I have twice had them 2 years apart based on wonky butt syndrome...lol....
All my biopsies have been precancer-free.
My flares have been limited to the rectum for eons.
