I had the same pain you are describing for over a year. I lost almost 20 lbs. because I actually almost stopped eating because when I would eat I would get the pain. I also felt like I could feel food moving in my colon. I had every test done, Blood work, CAT Scan, MRA (which actually checked the arteries going into my colon - they were inconclusive as one showed some blockage on 1 artery (there are 3)but I was told that could not cause my pain unless 2 of the 3 were somewhat blocked, Gall Bladder Ultrasound, ~~you name it, I think I had the test done. I would actually be at work and the pain would become so bad that I would take binder clips, which hold together lots of paper, and would clip them on the sides of my hands so the pain would go away. After many tests, my weight loss, and I basically had decided to not eat but once a day, I was given Amitriptyline. I am on 25mg and have been for about
a year. The pain has disappeared. Yes, I still have issues sometimes with my colon, but the pain is gone. I have had UC for 18 years and my GI believes my pain is colon related and I can't say why this medicine helps but this has been a Godsend to me.
I don't know if this will help you but I understand how you can feel like nothing is working and you are trying everything. I have been there as well.
