I'm amazed at the speed at which I have to get to the bathroom when I experience a moment of serious stress. It's bam. Anybody have that stress-gut experience? It's like I REALLY need to avoid a stress episode.

I don't have so much the stress reaction (that happens after things have settled down) but I do have the excited mad dashes to the bathroom. Like I will be excited or anxious about going out for the night and for some reason it sends me to the bathroom. It's not like I am not wanting to go but the fact that I want to get out so bad I guess.

With me, it's not necessarily stress - it's anything "exciting" - ! My hub and I can be sitting and chatting and the conversation will drift toward something like, "gee, this summer, do you think we could take a few days and go to.....{wherever}" and the excitement will send me to the bathroom immediately!

When I was flaring I would get a spasm every time my phone rang! Even at work...I had to just let calls go to voicemail and call back.
