     In answer to your question about whether or not it could be the sauce I dipped the crabcake in that triggered the flare.  I highly doubt it because sometimes I don't even use a sauce.  Now, it could be the filler, although the last place I ate the crab is a real hoity toity restaurant and it was Crab Imperial with very little filler.  I think it is just the shellfish itself.  Funny that shrimp doesn't do this to me BUT after eating shrimp my husband breaks out if a rash all over his legs...weird huh?  No where else but his legs!

Aw Christine, that's a bummer. I've never been able to eat crab anything, but my husband always enjoys those crab cakes. They look so tempting, but not enough for me to dig in! I was only a child when crab made me so sick, but it was enough for me to remember.
