I have been on Humira for almost 3 months.  It really has helped - formed stools and less mucous.  I still have urgency issues, but my GI said that is usually the last to stop.  Here is my problem:  after I have a BM, I still have a little liquid seeping out.  I end up wearing pads most of the time.  Is this a UC problem or is this incontinence?  I have had 2 fissure operations in the past.  Do not know if this could be related or not. I don't really know the answer to your question but I am sorry that you have these problems. We are all in the same boat. It does seem weird to have liquid if your movements are formed. It seems like it could be related to the fissures if you're not dealing with a flare-up. I had urgency for the longest time, it definitely is the last symptom to go away. Have you spoken to your doctor about trying some rectal meds? Maybe you have a little inflammation in the rectum, I believe that is the last area to heal.

I think it could be related, but you could also be having excess mucus because of that or there is some inflammation or even IBS related mucus.

You should be on rectal meds.

You could also consider to use fibre supplements to bulk up the stool and help lessen the mucus output as well as probiotics.
