Hi all,

Well i'm 4 days into having colifoam am and predsol suppositories pm and today is the first day without blood HOORAY!

However have been constipated for 6 days, no bowel movements but the following,

When sitting down for a pee a small amount of faecal matter mixed with blood and mucus comes out and floats in the loo it looks a bit like mashed potatoes in shape and texture. Am i in remission yet!

Any opinions appreciated.

Nope, I don't think so. It sounds like you're constipated, which can also be a sign of flaring.

If that is the only medications you are using sounds like constipation. Are you taking a probiotic? Also, I found I had to add some fiber either through food or like Metamucil very slowly.

You're still flaring, but improving since the bleeding has stopped.

I think you have a while yet before your symptoms have totally abated.

Keep up the meds.

I agree with the fibre supplements and also probiotics.

Keep us posted as to how it's going...or how you're "going", that is.

Awesome you're feeling a bit better.

this was the story of my life for a long time...it got better but very slowly..
