Well I Have been out of the hospital since weds. still on vancomyocin for cdiff...and now starting back on prednisone today. I don't know what is going on?? My mornings are horrible....i can't get out of the bathroom. But as the day goes on i can tolerate some food with just a little stomach cramping. I just want to feel better....how long will the cdiff last??? Maybe its the UC???But i was doing so well on remicade. UGH!!!! I am having another colonoscopy next weds to see what is going on in there...i can't take this anymore!!! Sorry just needed to vent!

Lynn,
I was misdiagnosed as CDiff for quite a while before getting correctly diagnosed (PCP = jerk, she wouldn't let me get scoped and handed over to GI) Anyway, I was on flagyl and told if that didn't work would go to Vanco. Told it might take a few rounds or more! to vanquish the CDiff. Miserable situation especially on Flagyl. Hugs. I feel bad for you. :-(
