Christine1946: 11 years, I can't even begin to think what the trip must have been like for you having this for all those years. I know you were in remission a few times, but man. Making sure you have the correct surgeon is a plus and what helps even more is if you trust the person as well. I got along with mine extremely well, and he emails me if I have any other questions and usually gets back very quickly. Something I wasn't used to. Stay well, and hope you feel better and hope the Humira works for you.
Again, this place has truly saved me in a lot of ways. The laughs I have had from here with some of the stories are great. I wish everyone the best and I will check in soon again to let you all know what is going on.

Anthony, thanks for the kind words. Your surgery will be here before you know it. It is fun to think about
living again and doing all of the things we haven't been able to do thanks to UC. Good luck! Can't wait to hear how your surgery goes.
