Does your GI doc give you pain meds?

My joints and muscles hurt so bad I can hardly stand it. Not to mention stomach cramping. Tylenol is not cutting it. Does your GI doctor give you pain meds? Should I bother trying to get some? I'm currently taking Lialda, Lexapro and Trazadone. I need to go in anyway because I'm flaring. I think I need to try Canasa again or something. Thanks

No, I've never gotten any. For cramps they gave me Nulev which didn't work, and now I have Bentyl, which I hear does, but I haven't needed it. For my joints I got Sulindac which helped a little but messed my stomach up.

OMG!!! I should have back in the early days. I used to have such TERRIBLE pain when I was all inflamed! In retrospect I would opt for the taking the pain meds...

Hi i've got buscopan for cramps and co codamol 30/500mg for pain which i take when having a bad day not all the time which i find does help
