Colonoscopy and Remicade

So, last friday I had a colonoscopy to see if my remicade is working.  It is.  I went from Severe active UC to Mild active UC.  I only started Remicade in July.  Hopefully it will fully heal my colon.  I'm still scared to be on this drug and I worry alot about it but I just don't think I'm ready for surgery just yet.  Just thought I would share my good news.tongue

Excellent news! My colon is healed too from the Remi....as you can see I've been on it for many years. Last August I had a colonoscopy and they found no polyps or ulcers. Yippee! Congrats to you!

That is wonderful! I am praying for even more healing for you-and so happy to hear of your good progress!!! Remicade seems to be working for me as well, and for now I am very grateful!! I feel as you do-I worry about being on it, but I am not quite ready for surgery, so i am glad the meds are helping me for now.

Thanks everyone!!!  I'm still fatigued and my joints still hurt but I'm hoping the remi will clear that up eventually too. shocked

I'd be scared as well to be on it.....but it's awesome to hear many have such success with it.
