In flare..enema not working, now what?

I've been in remission (from Remicade) for two years and began to flare about a month ago.  GI did a colonoscopy and said it was confined to my rectal area and prescribed Cortifoam for a month.  It's been 2 weeks and my symptoms are getting worse (more urgency and a lot of blood).  I have an appt on Thursday...any idea what he might suggest or prescribe?  I have a feeling maybe Pred but I've done that before early in my diagnosis and it eventually failed (then again I was only on the Pred, no Remicade, and my entire colon was more inflamed than it has been recently).  I'm really hoping this is a flare that can be controlled and that the Remicade hasn't failed me!

Proctofoam made things worse for me -- I have tried it three times with the same results. What really has worked for me are the Mesalamine 4g enemas.

Nope just the Cortifoam

I didn't want to call in yet to ask to change being that I knew I had Remicade todady and go to my GI in 3 days. I wanted to wait to see if the Remicade would improve it (just got back) before asking to change anything and then if it didn't (I usually see a result by the next day) I'd bring it up with my GI on Thurs. Just figured I'd see what others thought before then. My GI's staff is SUPER rude and I dread calling them for anything--today they actually gave me a hard time about wanting another prescription for a blood test since I got one 3 weeks ago (since that time I've been bleeding uncontrollably and wanted an update on my hemoglobin). I think after this appointment Thur I will try to switch GIs because they really make me feel like such an annoyance (which is mostly the reason I post so many questions for you guys--I know if I call him GI I'll either get attitude from them or not even a call back because they are so incompetant).

Is Rowasa different than Mesalamine 4g enemas?
