pain in right side

 Hi for the last few days i have not been able to lay on my right side without getting a lot of pain it feels like someone is twisting a red hot knife in my right side under my rib cage  not to bad on my left side and ok on my back i have left sided u/c any ideas do you think that it might have spread i am seeing my GI in may also im getting a lot of joint pain any connection bm wise not to bad depending on what i eat any ideas.

or liver...yes, do call the doc and try to get in asap.
