Vomiting on Remicade?

I had my first infusion last weds, I didn't experience any allergic reactions and the only side effects I seem to have got so far is feeling very tired and loss of appetite. However this morning I've been feeling a lot more rough than usual, no appetite and I vomited about an hour ago. Is vomiting a side effect also?

     about two days after my 3rd infusion I suffered what I thought to be a stomach bug.  I felt like vomiting, but had diarrhea instead, didn't know what end it was gonna come from.  I also had a temp of 101, body aches and over all just yukky.  It only lasted 24 hrs but the next day, my UP symptoms returned and never left cry .  Doctor said I built up antibodies to the Remicade.  Boy, that was sure fast!

Sorry you are not feeling well... :( Vomiting is not a common side effect of Remicade, although it is possible, I've heard people had this side effect before... Could be a bug of some sort and the remicade brought it out possibly, since it is an immuno supressing drug. I'd give it a day or so and if you don't get better, inform your GI so he can give you some anti-nausea meds.

I only had one infusion and my immediate side effects were tiredness and a slight headache that was controllable with tylenol... after about 3 days I felt pretty good...

Thank you both, I haven't vomited again since thankfully but still feeling pretty rough with little appetite. I hope its gone by tomorrow as I have work!

In any case I am back to the GP's on wednesday so I can discuss it with him then.
