Hello folks,

I am diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis since 2006, currently taking 200mg of Azathioprine a day (100mg twice a day) along with Colazid and Sulphasalazine suppository once a day.
I am suffering from migraine quite a while and last month, had migraine attack 11 times. Took Naproxen every time that resulted in flare.

Previously, I thought that migraine is connected to sulphasalazine but doctor mentioned that its connected to Azatioprine. I wonder if any other Azathiprine / Imuran patients are suffering from migraine. I have more problem with migraine than ulcerative colitis.

That's strange that you can't log on with your old info...did you forget your password or email the admin to find out why?

I'm on 6mp and yes, I get very frequent headaches and if I don't take care of them right away they become full blown migraines. I am a daily regimen of Tylonel Arthritis for both my headaches and my arthritis. I still get headaches but they are much more mild since I started on my daily course of Tylonel. However, when it does act up I end up lying on the couch with a pillow over my head and pray that the Excederin Migraine I just took, will take care of the migraine. I definately think migraines are 10x's worse then a Uc flare...they are just miserable!

I don't know what wrong but I have saved my login information in Firefox and it didn't take it. I tried to renew password using registration e-mail ID, it refused to accept.

Headache has become too frequent for me nowadays, every 2nd day, to be very precise and Naproxen that was prescribed to me caused me to flare. The GI has asked for a neuroconsult as his opinion is, its too frequent to be a side effect. Today, I had my worse share in a long time. I took 2gms of Paracetamol / Tylenol and 250mg of Naproxen to get back to normalcy. At this moment, headache are affecting my quality of life lot more than UC.

I was told to take 1gm Paracetamol as and when migraine shows up but I guess, its ok in short term. This can not be a solution for long term. I am just 33, haven't even had my mid-life crisis ;) or is this going to be the one??
