Hi everyone, I haven't been on here in a while so I don't know if this has been posted, but I saw this article about a chemical found in the body, prostaglandin D2, being eleveted in people in remission of UC. I'm assuming it's just a discovery, and it will have to be examined more before determining if it is a major breakthrough in finding a treatment for UC, but it sounds promising.

Happy days to all, UC is a devastating condition that takes a lot to endure, and hopefully some day there will be a universal treatment that will bring this disease to an end.
