Thanks for the link, pb4....good information. wow, 30 genes contributing to UC...yikes. No wonder it's so difficult to understand the why.

Yeah, I knew they had found at least 30+ gene clusters related to crohn's and much less for UC but now looks like they've caught up with identifying UC genes as well...no I don't subscribe to the In Sciences....I found this link (along with the CD one I accidentially posted here on the UC forum, which was meant for the CD forum) on the CCFC website, I do subscribe to the CCFC though and get journals through out each yr regarding new info/research on IBD.
