Is Entocort enema available to people living in the United States?
My pharmacist says no.

There's other steroid enemas such as cortifoam, cortenema, proctofoam, etc.If you're really wanting to try it, maybe order online? What meds at this time are you on exactly and what are your symptoms?q

I am having a little bloody mucous with each BM (3 to 4 per day) and urgency/pain.
Colonoscopy showed inflammation in rectum and very bottom part of sigmoid.
I am using Cortifoam, but doesn't reach into the sigmoid. I would prefer to use Endocort since it contains budesonide instead of hydrocortisone and therefore doesn't have steroid side effects yet is just as effective. See sig for other meds.
I think it is a bad idea to just let the inflammation fester even though the symptoms are mild. I would prefer to get rid of the inflammation if at all possible.

The foam should get the sigmoid as well....
Maybe get back on the Mesalamine enemas at night and the foam during the day.
When was your scope?
What meds were you using before the scope?
There are still side effects with the budesonide since it's still a steroid, but hopefully not as much as with the hydrocortisone. It's definitely subjective.
