prednisone..peach fuzz

Hello...I  started on a dosage of 30mg of prednisone ona  6 week taper off. I am currently on 15mg, and on Tuesday will be down to 10mg, and stay on that for at least a year. I am also on Salofalk.  I've noticed a little more peach fuzz on my face. Its one of those things that it is noticable to you, since it's your face lol, when really looking in the mirror,but not noticable too anyone else.

I was wondering, that since I am on a low dosage of 10mg, it should start to go away a bit? or does anyone if it stays just peach fuzz or turn into actual dark facial hair?

I am also on prednisone 40mg daily and just started to taper off. Peach fuzz is one of the many symptoms it could cause for that I personally would not touch them because all it will do is grow in thicker and darker. If that's all your experiencing consider yourself lucky.

They WILL NOT grow in thicker or darker if you shave the hair. Using one of those small trimmers will at least keep it in visual check.

I wax anything off. It is painful but better than being hairy. I don't think it will go away completely at 10mg, I think you have to be off to see side effects go away. That's what I've been told. The side effects are less at lower doses but they are there.

sorry, i meant Not noticable to anyone else...I also do have some issues falling asleep or back  to sleep if I wake up during the night sometimes...thanks for the replys
