Hi, everyone.

I am taking a Health Psychology class that is centered around Behavioral Medicine and one thing we have to do is write a summary/critique of two journal articles that are related to the course. One topic I'd like to do is IBD/IBS since I am in remission of Ulcerative Colitis. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions of any good, decent sized articles or even just a good journal. Suggestions concerning other areas of Chronic Disorders are welcome too.

What aspect of behavioral medicine are you interested...How stress affects the immune system, role of psychotherapy in patients with chronic illnesses, depression and anxiety, quality of life of patients, adherence to medication, psychosocial factors affecting IBD, etc.? Your best bet would be to use Google Scholar or PubMed and type in IBD + whatever you're interested in.

Thanks for the tips. I think quality of life of patients is the aspect I'm looking for. It fits the structure of the class best.
