Hi,
I'm new to this forum and to UC too. I got to know that have UC 4 months ago. My doctor said while I'm having treatments continuosly, my condition should be monitored to check whether there is any side effects or any other prob. Last week I've face to a blood test and sent the reports to my doctor. Even though I'm living in USA, I'm not a permanant resident in here. So it's better if I can do this monitoring process in USA. But my husband and I are unsure about the cost of these test. 
So I would like to know which type of tests shoud be carried out to monitor UC? If anyone have experiences pls tell me what kind of tests that I have to follow depending on which situations.
