Just wondering about
this, is it possible? I've heard that your "gut" instinct can override your brain thoughts. Sort of the flight or fight theory. Put some little speakers on your tummy area?
Or has anyone tried hypnosis too?I have these thoughts occasionally and they probably sound a bit silly. Not in a complete flare now. It still wants to start little by little but I'm still fighting it off. I asked for something for anxiety and the NP prescribed hydroxyzine (an antihistamine) 25 mg, it seems to be OK for now. Taking only one a night if needed.

Hmmm, well, possibly sound waves or vibrations that may have a relaxing effect o counter spasming or something like that? But if you have gut pain, it's most likely gas orextreme spasming caused by IBS or of course, inflammation.
You could possibly try accupuncture or an antispasmodic. My fave is Bentylol (dicyclomine)
I do NOT understand why you're not on any rectal meds since they do have a high success rate in dealing with inflammation in the rectum and lower colon.
If you cannot use them, please state so in your siggie since that's one thing I'll never shut up about
..lol.
Let us know how you do with your tummy speakers.
