Last night I dreamed that I was starting a flare-up. It seemed so real, when I woke up this morning I was depressed until I realized why.

I've only known I had UC for about 7 weeks and only one flare-up and already I'm having nightmares about it!!!

Things that we are anxious about often manifest in dreams. Usually expressing these concerns with someone close helps.

I remember having dreams about that, too. My guess is that you're still coming to terms with having UC. Sorry; it is a challenge of a disease. But, learn all you can, be proactive in your care, and.... I bet the dreams will stop.

I have UC dreams too. I dreamt once that I was having my colon out and I freaked and backed out of the surgery.

I usually get the dreams too when I'm flaring, coming out of a flare, or have recently gone into remission.
